A newlywed couple’s bliss is shattered when a mad burglar called Shooting Star hurls live scorpions onto their nude bodies… now writhing in death agonies. Okinu, Inspector Nikichi’s daughter, breaks up a gambler’s con game, and is nearly kidnapped by the villain. She’s rescued by the enigmatic Ametaro, a man recently released from prison for burglary. His former alias…Shooting Star. Okinu volunteers to pose as a bride to catch the Scorpion burglar, and though Ametaro helps again, she becomes convinced he’s a killer.  Soon the Scorpion killer and Ametaro are drawn into a fight to the death, over a treasure hidden in an unknown valley.
