In perhaps one of the most challenging missions of "The Bored Hatamoto," an innocent maiden is murdered by a mysterious ninja with two young ladies witnessing it. Fortunately, the Bored Hatamoto is walking by and saves the two girls but was too late to save the maiden. He quickly finds himself mixed up in a mystery of murdered maidens, an unknown ninja clan, attempts on his life, and a cursed vampire bat cave.
