In tribute to renowned author Ikenami Shotaro on the 100th anniversary of his birth, “Onihei,” his famed shogunate-era Demon cop, Hasegawa Heizo, leaps back onto the screen. Taking over as chief of Edo’s Arson and Theft Investigation Bureau, a nostalgic walk through his old neighborhood will lead Heizo into a web of danger as old friends and new enemies threaten Edo.
