PART 1: A direct retainer of the shogun, Yamaoka Tatewaki, had pawned his family heirloom, a valuable Gosu plate for 100 ryo. Unfortunately for him, his superior came and wanted to see the plate on the day of the Boy’s Festival (lunar May 5th). The pawnbroker coldheartedly refused to loan the plate back, then unexpectedly died soon thereafter of an unknown cause. Just days later, two warehouses were broken into, but nothing was taken. When Detective Shokichi sought the help of crime solving samurai “Young Lord” samurai who found these crimes interesting enough to take on the case.

PART 2: In trying to piece together the parts of the puzzle, Young Lord runs into a series of hidden obstacles which only serve to ignite his fervor. As the mystery grows deeper, danger rears its ugly head! With no easy questions and his life hanging in the balance, can Young lord solve the mystery and regain the valuable plate?
