Japan 1923. Somewhere in the northern archipelago, two Yakuza clans are fighting over control of the timber trade. A bloody settling of scores ends the truce and results in the imprisonment of its leading members. Six years later, granted amnesty, the two clans are forced to unite. But this union, sealed by an arranged marriage, hides a dark secret that will lead to their downfall in a final stand.
