Saburo, a high school student skilled in sports but slow in his studies, travels back in time, arriving at the Sengoku period of 1549. When he meets Lord Oda Nobunaga, the lord realizes Saburo is his spitting image. Physically weak, and unsure of his abilities, he asks Saburo to take his place as lord, and fulfill his ambition to unify Japan. Saburo does his best to fill the shoes of the famous  lord, through the violent conflicts that lay ahead, until he reaches the crossroads of fate and he wonders... Will he face the death the real Nobunaga had in store?
