Episodes 4, 5, and 6 in the Meiji era boomtown of Yokohama.  As always, the story centers around a gathering place called The Mermaid Saloon, where scantily clad pearl divers put on a show while two residents of the hotel upstairs fight corruption and evil. Modern times have changed Japan into a place where money is all that matters, and people are willing to commit crimes that would have been unthinkable in the past.  Not only that, but Mr. Chidori's past may come back and haunt him when his best friend and mentor investigates a counterfeiting conspiracy that just may blow his cover.
