Japan’s great warlord Oda Nobunaga rose to prominence when he led a force of only 2,000 men against the 25,000 troops of Imagawa Yoshimoto at the Battle of Okehazama. The overconfident leader, Imagawa was taken by surprise when Oda did not show any fear of his superior force and wound up with his head on a stake! Spectacular action abounds as the armies face off against each other, while flashbacks give you the events that led up to this pivotal moment in Japanese history. The three greatest warlords are all here in their early days, showing how (while still known as Kinoshita Tokichiro) Hideyoshi meets and impresses Nobunaga. And a young Matsudaira Motoyasu (later to become Tokugawa Ieyasu) is fighting on the losing side, but manages to survive and go on to greater things. A spectacular view into the most exciting times in Japanese history!
