Nemuri Kyoshiro has left Edo, and trouble follows him wherever he may go.  Kataoka Takao does an outstanding portrayal of the half-breed ronin, who follows his own sense of justice.  Although unwilling to do the bidding of the shogun's chief advisor, Kyoshiro is drawn into the vortex of a plot by the Satsuma clan and 13 other daimyo to overthrow the government.  Will his "Full Moon Sword Style" be enough to stop the vicious plot and protect his friends from harm. Volume 8 finds him traveling through Tenryu and Hamamatsu. Along the way he encounters some of Japan's strongest swordsmen as well as being reunited with a former lover and her new beau, a blind ronin with a score to settle.
