Japanese superstar Nakamura Kinnosuke returns to his most famous role portraying master swordsman Miyamoto Musashi in director Uchida Tomu’s final film. In his quest to follow the path of sword, Musashi comes across Old Baiken, a former samurai who also fought in the Battle of Sekigahara, albeit on the winning side. As the two drink sake and reminisce secrets of the past arise that lead to a deadly showdown between the two. Baiken is a master of the kusari-gama (chain & sickle), a weapon devised specifically to defeat the sword. Can this be the birth of Musashi’s famed “Two Sword” style? Tremendous action and great performances highlight this unique glimpse into samurai culture.
