Young Lord Gentaro (Otomo Ryutaro) takes a journey to Edo in search of his future wife. Having no experience with the world outside the castle, Gentaro, who is the nephew of the shogun gets his first lessons in how the outside world lives and has to find a way to make a living, while still searching for the perfect bride.  The evil hatamoto of that era try to take advantage of the good people and Gentaro must come to their rescue. An exciting and romantic movie with broad touches of humor.
