Samurai Ino Heihachiro, doomed to wander, knows the three Niki brothers follow, their swords thirsty for his blood. A chance meeting with a local boy leads Heihachiro to befriend the boy’s peasant family. But Magoichi, the boy’s father, is pursued by deadly enemies of his own. Worse, while fishing, Heihachiro and the boy find gold nuggets, which will bring the town Boss and his hungry Yakuza dogs to the lonely farm, while the vicious Niki brothers arrive to ambush Heihachiro. Heihachiro faces the struggle of his life, his sword bloodied to the hilt, desperate to save an innocent family and save himself from the swords of a host of killers.
